Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and share our love of the written word! This weekly BOOK PARTY is an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books!
This week's question is:
“When did you realize reading was your passion and a truly important part of your life?”
My Answer: That's a tough question since I guess I've always loved reading and it always played an important role in my life, especially in school. The library was a place I could go away from my teasing peers, and I could always escape the noise by just opening a new book. I think college kind of placed my joy of reading on hold because I didn't feel I had as much time to read. Granted, I did read books just not as much as I used to and mostly graphic novels. But now that I'm working in a library, and also blogging about books, I feel my passion is rekindling and I'm looking forward to the many new books on my TBR pile. ^_^
I'm glad you are lovign to read again! There is nothing better than finding that book that sparks your interest! :D
ReplyDeleteLoved your answer for this week's question! I think working in a library is a close second to my nursing haha. I think, if I wasn't becoming a nurse, I'd be a librarian. And I'd live IN the library haha.

I'm the same, it's always been a great escape for me - and the TBR pile just keeps growing! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, reading takes you into another world.
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm a new follower! I'm the same, in my post on this I even mentioned how my reading slowed down in college. You also have my dream job, I want to be a school librarian so bad. One day I'll get the chance. Hope you'll stop by and check out my blog if you get time.
ReplyDeleteMany of us experienced the drought of reading in college! I would read all the way through each break just to feel balanced again!!! Books are a great escape from the growing up woes, too!
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower! My college experience was the opposite I read lots of great books but I major in American Studies so my selection was endless. I hope you have a good weekend!
I always felt guilty reading while studying. I figured I should be spending the time reading text books so tried to save the books I really wanted to read for my holidays but there was never enough time to get through them all. Maybe I can blame my enormous TBR pile on my time at university ;)

So many bloggers seem to have always been big readers, maybe it's genetic! Have a great weekend.
