Book Blogger Hop Day: March 18-20

This week on Denim-Jacket Librarian Dishes:

Book Blogger Hop

As Crazy For Books says:

Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and share our love of the written word! This weekly BOOK PARTis an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books!

This week's question comes from Somer who blogs at A Bird's Eye Review (her blog design is ADORABLE - check it out!):

"Do you read only one book at a time, or do you have several going at once?"

My Answer: I usually have several books going at once, though usually only one of them is a novel.  The others are usually anthologies and graphic novels since those are easy enough to pick up and read either when I need a break from the novel or just to have something different. :)  Right now, I'm currently reading The Beastly Bride (anthology), A Walk in Wolf Wood (novel) and Natsume's Book of Friends Volume 3 (manga).

What do all of you wonderful readers have on your reading list this week?

  1. Jealous! I'm stuck with one (maybe 2) at a time. For me breaks usually only come in the form of watching a movie or reading blog posts - less plot to worry about that way ;D

Hope you're having a great weekend!

  2. Hopping through. I read multiple books at a time, one of which is usually a manga.

  3. Let me know what you think of Beastly Bride. I have it sitting on my bookshelf and it looks lonely.

  4. Coming through the hop.

I have no problem reading two books at a time though it does not happen often. I generally like to finish one and then start another.

  5. Hopping by!! I usually try to keep it at just one book too! :)

    Thanks for stopping by!

  8. Not everyone can multi-task and nobody should. When it comes to book sure, I can't read four books simultaneously (or even two, for that matter!) but there are times I'll juggle as many as four books at a time depending on the subject matter, the urgency or more often both.

The real trick to this is what KINDS of books to juggle. Hop on over to my blog and learn the method behind my madness - http://www.howardshermannet

  9. Thank you for stopping by the blog and for following! I am also following yours. :)

To answer your question, I do go back to reading the other. Sometimes I switch in the middle of the first. It all really just depends on my mood. The only thing I do stick with is the audiobooks.

  11. I read more than one book at a time too! I can only imagine how tempting it is to read multiple books since you work at a library and are surrounded by so many!
