After seeing this meme on several blogs I follow, I had to join in this week since I finally have something to talk about! ^_^ In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren, where we post about all the books we have received whether in the mail, if we purchased it,or got it from our local library.

Great mailbox! Wolf Moon and Red Moon Rising have been on my radar for a while now. I'm curious about Paranormalcy but haven't completely decided to read it yet. Thanks for stopping by, I'm a new follower. :)

I had a friend who got me into The Last Unicorn in college. Although she just had me watch the movie. I didn't really it was based on a book, although I'm not surprised.
ReplyDeleteFab reads! I liked the movie The Last Unicorn. Paranormalcy is great too.

OH I like the sound of Wolf Moon and I have been wanting to read Paranormalcy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog.
@ Carmel: I was lucky enough to find Red Moon Rising for a good deal, and I finally borrowed Wolf Moon through interlibrary loan. I can't wait to read it! :D
ReplyDelete@ Shoshanah: The book is slightly different from the movie, but I enjoyed both and now love the graphic novel. :) The artwork is beautiful.
@ Alison: I recommend reading both the novel and the graphic novel of The Last Unicorn, too. And I can't wait to read Paranormalcy, though I have other ahead of it on the list.
@ BLHmistress: It's the first Charles de Lint novel that I felt I could read since I've heard he's got a writing style that can be hard to get into.
Thank you all for stopping by today! :)
I will have to borrow The Last Unicorn. I leafed through it at B&N and it was gorgeous!
ReplyDelete@ Karen: Isn't it though? I love how they were able to condense the story just enough into those 6 issues. :) I'll loan it to you next time we visit.
